About the Artist

Maggie was born in Hana Maui in the early 90s. From a young age she took to loving the land and what grew on it, which is where the nickname MagSeaDaisy stemmed from.

Around the age of 10 Maggie taught herself to string plumeria lei, using a sewing needle and dental floss. That was the beginning of her love for creating floral art. She would watch the aunties and elders string the most beautiful flowers together, and in true Hawaii fashion learned merely by continuing to watch. Maggie studied what they did with their hands, which materials they used, and all the traditional Hawaiian words that the woven florals were called. Although she moved to California at a young age her love for flowers and lei making never went away. She spent many years in Hawaii during summers with her family where she would practice her skills and learn new techniques. In her early 20s she took time to travel and learn the various aspects of floral design in French Polynesia, Indonesia, as well as Hawaii and California.

Over the past decade Maggie has grown her passion into a flourishing business with love going into each and every arrangement. It is her honor to create stunning and spectacular floral bouquets, centerpieces, and installations for your special events, and celebrations. Maggie, creates each piece with the highest integrity, and quality in her designs.
